Respected Members, Here is a very sad news. On 22th Oct. 2008 Dr. Dhuniram Mandi 40 yrs,member of Adivasi Medico Association Died in a tragic incident at about 1:00 p.m near Shimlipal Belpahari due to Landmine blast. He was returning from a medical camp held in a remote tribal village nearby. He was travelling in a Tata Sumo (Health Dept. Vehicle) with a 22yr old nurse & the driver all three died on the spot. The car was completely damaged. The blast was so strong that it made a big hole in its surroundings. Dr. Mandi was graduate from NRS medical College Kolkata & as a person he was a very nice & sincere medical officer. He survived by wife & a 4 yr old son. We all deeply mourn the death of Dr. Mandi.
