I have gone through your Blog on there is no God. Let me put some of my thoughts for your consumption. Although I believe in many deities of Hindu Dharm but of late I am very much influenced by Arya Samaj explanation of ISHWAR / PARMATMA or GOD whatever you call. There is some Shakti - power who runs this Brahmand- Universe. The Sun, moon rise and set in time, different seasons come and go on its time with minor variations sometime. All activities of this Brahmand goes on and on since infinity !!! Who is managing all these ? Can simple human being control all these. Whosoever controls and Managing it called that power GOD. Now Beliving in the God is one thing while business of GOD is different thing.
Please look to God Business from this angle too and for example we will take one PLACE like Shirdi Sai Baba.
The place is visited by lakhs / crores every year. How many persons are getting direct and indirect emplyoment ? Sansthan has 1500 employee who manages all affiars of pilgrams. Than other sectors Railway & road travels employees, Prasad, phool mala, toys and many many items sellers and apart from hotels, lodges, restaurants emplyoees. All getting their food and livelyhood because of just one God temple. Apart from above, the Sansthan is also doing many social, educational developments in its vicinity.
Tell me which sector- public, private and "arm chair philosphers" quoted by you provide livelyhood to these many persons. The God or Devta who is provider or jo deta hai - called God -nothing wrong if invented and worshiped him or her.
