Litipara SOURYA PAHARIA population is 10441 by totalling those surveyed in the TRI study .

3.Sauria Paharia 8,252 - this last figure (given the TRI figure of over 10,000 Sauria Paharias in a single block) is ridiculous.

The Tribal Research Institute figures are closer to the language figures in the Census and very different from the district datasheets. Basic Data Sheet

3.Oraon 6,793 -this does not even mention the Sauria Paharias! Conclusion-The Census site needs to be corrected. Somebody who is confusing various communities has entered the aggregate data in the summary sheets.
