niky barla Dear Pravinji, It is a serious matter. In the name of Salwajudum, why and how the innocent tribals will be killed ? We will fight it out.Meanwhile 18th and 19th meeting is scheduled. Let us have it. Laxmi is taking our documents and we will file the PIL through HRLN (Human Rights law Net work.). My bandage is removed, but there is no strenth still. It may take one more week. Senthil Raja Arent salwa judum, themselves the tribals?
This article portrays as though salwa judum is some external
organisation targetting tribals.. while the truth is that salwa judum
themselves are nothing but the tribals..
A neutral reader, may not be aware of the underlying situation..
Let me point out some of my opinions of this..
First i dont deny that salwa judum had attacked the other tribals..
but its not a racial attack, as the article tries to portray.. its
most probably an attack on the maoists and naxalite members of the
tribals..
The article should have been more clear with details on who are the
people being attacked..
Unfortunately, it portrays that an attack has been carried out on the
entire tribals, thus invoking a racial dimension..
I also want to ask, why few members of this group are so concerned
(and opposed) on government action, while they completely ignore the
brutalities of the naxalites and maoists..
So far, i havent seen any of those memebers, writing anything against
the naxals.. they write only against government, trying to establish
a negative image..
I see this as an extension of the biased communists in india's
intellectual domain..
