Dear all, Mother's day and father's day is not a christian concept...... just a western concept and has nothing in it to destroy Indian or Hindu culture. Irrespective of our faith and religion one should respect our parents who brought us into this world. It is nice to set apart a day in a year to show our respect and gratitude to them. No body is asking these days to be declared as national holiday ! we have enough of national holidays. Most developed contries have 5 working days a week because one needs to recharge battery after working for 5 days in a row. As for Valentine's day why on earth is it looked down in a negative way by some sects in the India? Any one out there please enlighten us in the forum.
