sri venkat Seems to be for good reason that TOI rejected this biased article. The author justifies Islamic terror by using the infamous "root cause theory". But we should ask why he does not justify Hindu violence the same way! What was the root cause for the Babri Masjid destruction? Can Cynthia explain? "On the Muslim side of terror are scores of disaffected youth, many of whom have seen their families tortured and killed in more recent pogroms. Christians too have fallen victim to recent Hindutva terror but as yet not formed the mechanisms for revenge. " Hindus probably are the greatest victims of Islamic terrorism and Christian genocide (eg the atrocitiesGoan inquisition has been said to be the worst in christian history) . Manoj Padhi This article is pseudo-secular and biased article based on a bigoted anti-hindu , anti-BJP and anti-RSS mindset. Hence ToI did the right thing to reject it.
America created Bi Laden to fight against Soviets after seeing the pity conditions of Afgan refugees in Pakistan. (See the movie Charlie Wilson's War).
It never meant that he will turn a fanatic and create chaos in the world.
Mr. Anand Patwardhan is so pseudo-secular that he doesn't realize or analyze, why the people of India minus pseuso-seculars and the rest of the world, world media didn't list RSS, VHP as terroist organizations. Apparantly, the do understand the need of RSS, VHP to counter the global Islamic brotherhood of radical Islams and consider them as patriotic organizations.
Who are enemy of India ?
Those who take Anti-US, Anti-Isreal stands in public forum as both USA and Isreal are with us in the' war on terror'. While the writers like Anand Patwardhan fails to take cognizance of this.
So I urge all the Indians who have got voracious appetite for rooting out terrorism and pseuso-secularism to sunb the writers who compare radical islamic terrorists with hindu terrorists.
