Nav Srishti Senthil In my humble opinion, Education and Health care are country's essential services, and should be treated on par with army..
Commercialisation of healthcare leads to exploitation of suffering people, and commercialisation of Education, leads to exploitation of an entire generation...
Education as a commodity, had give us literacy but not any morality, has given us knowledge but not responsibility..
Education should be left to the local people, guided by a central uniform guidelines.. the local people will definitely cannot spare to degrade with it, as their children's future lies in it..
I just want to highlight the incident of gujarat model.. after 2002 earthquake, the Modi's government, created a blueprint for primary and secondary school, and gave it to all the panchayats..
He also provided a budgeted amount to each of the panchayats, and created a material bank for them.. and the actual implementation of building the school was left to them..
Surprisingly, most of the panchayats built a bigger school than estimated with the provided money and material, and some of the panchayats even saved money and returned it back to the government..
If at all we want to bring any actual change, we need to enable people's participation in it..
