People across the state are in a worried state of affair.
They apprehended that the fragile Kandhamal will once again turn to communal cauldron.
So people from various walks of life have appealed the masses to maintain calm and communal amity in the riot hit zone.
Leading the move, the Odisha Shanti O Sadbhabana Abhiyan(OSSA) has appealed the people for peace and harmony in the light of the killing of Pravat Panigrahi.
Pravat, a RSS activist was gunned down by miscreants in the village Rudigumma under Kotagarh Police Station area on 18 March.
Professor Radhamohan, Chairman, OSSA and Dr. Bhagbanprakash, Working Chairman of the organization has appealed for peace.
OSSA, a leading civil society group was active in bringing peace process in Kandhamal, which faced communal frenzy aftermath the killing of VHP leader Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati on 23 august, 2008.
