Ø      Why did he allow first the Muslims and then the Christians, to be soft targets for Hindu extremism  in Orissa ?

A. In Kandhamala region, missionaries were engaged in rampant  conversion of gullible tribal Hindus. The National average of Christians is 2%; in Kandhamala the number is around 24%. Still, with lot of patience the so called Hindu Extremists didn't strike first. But, like Godhra, they were attacked by Christian miscreants; naxlites were hired to finish the job and a conspiracy was orchestrated  to give it Naxlite color. Swamiji died and with him few others have to die, rather unfortunately. I personally, wrote to Dr. John Dayal, try to stop the root cause - conversion. He appreciated the suggestion but said "Thanks but No Thanks". I would interpret that as - if Christians don't die, who will invite him to debates / National Integration Councils ? If missionaries won't convert, how foreign money can fill in their bank accounts ? So, in fact, the more the attack, the more international sympathy can be generated via a well designed 'propaganda'.

Naveen Patnaik is not an efficient home minister;  So, he did, what he had been doing all the 8 years. No regrets. He killed 11 tribals for TATAs and you should have known that.

His every bone is secular (11 Tribal Hindus at Kalinga Nagar also killed by himself - not BJP)   and how dare Christians challenge his secular credentials ? Hindus also died in his regime. So, he did, what Secular Narasimha Rao did for 'Babri Masjid'. Timely inaction is the best solution. It is really unfortunate though - innocent converts suffered, who had nothing to do with conversion or political agenda.

Ø      Why did he not reign in goons of the Sangh Parivar when they very strategically disrupted Christian lives and events in 2007 and created mayhem for the Christians for a good part of 2008 ?

A. Can you suggest some method How the 'rage' can be cooled. Didn't Muslims lost their cool  after Babri Masjid demolition and caused infamous Mumbai Riots ? In Kolkata, Taslima was asked to leave India because of Muslim fundamentalist rage.

"YES- It was a mistake; it was my mistake. We shoudn't have converted people by saying "Christ is the only saviour" when they have 330 million gods as saviours.

Above all Hindus have  saints like Shiradi Saibaba, who is capable of  performing miracles" The above is Naveen Patnaik's opinion too, unless CM come forward to say "No".  

Ø      Why did he not have the courage to contain Togadia and his ilk when they spewed venom all across the State against the Christians ?  (He could have easily have emulated several other Chief Ministers of other States who easily put a halt to Togadia's vicious march in their States)

A. Love to CM's Chair. He read in news paper - what happened to V.P.Singh's chair when Shri Advani was arrested . The notion that RSS/VHP hate Christians and Muslims are not correct. RSS/VHP hate terrorists and missionaries and begging not to appease minorities for vote bank. SInce when "Appeasement for None" is seen as 'spewing venom' ?

Ø      Why did he not ensure the safety and security of the Christians of Kandhamal District when thousands were languishing in the forests ?

A. Christians are safe in Jungles since they were originally tribals.

Ø      Why has he not guaranteed the safe return of those who have been dispossessed of their houses and lands from Kandhamal District ?

A. He believes in law of the land and Constitution of India. He also believes that the law of the land will take its own course. After 40 years, the Law is still searching  Hirakud dam ousters  for delivering their compensation cheques. So, please wait at least till the election is over.

Ø      Can he oversee a complete and just compensation package to the victims of the violence in Orissa ?

A. This is election time. - he doesn't have time to obtain a head count of his MLAs in OLA ? He preferred voice vote, which was never done in Indian History.

Ø      Thousands of minorities, very specially Christians, have been disenfranchised in Orissa.  Will he come out with a very honest political decision to ensure that their names are on the Electoral Rolls and that they are able to exercise their franchise in an environment which is free and fair ?
