Why Ambedkar is not quoted for other stories such as the establishment of casteist set up which was , done by the returnees from Buddhism. This is a verified truth.
Buddhism is a subsect of Hinduism. Nothing more and nothing less. When it tried to overact , it was shown its due place. Again and again I stress this. Buddhism is a defeated, discarded theism whose utility to Hinduism is over for India.
For a dharma to survive , it needs to have mythology, culture and followers. Buddhism has none of these qualifications in India.
Japan is an example of a Buddhist nation falling apart in mental health. It tops the world in the suicide rates. Look at this report

I will say that the reason is that they have no religion to fall back on. Buddhist China is fast on track to become another suicide spot. Buddha gave the means but he forgot the terrain. It was applicable to the post Vedic India. Not the Chinese land nor the SE Asia. All these nations suffer under this theory which has a soul but no head and a heart.
I have alreadt explained here that it was Buddhism and Buddhism alone that was responsible for the casteist muddle noe in Hinduism. Now the Harijans were led there sheeplike by Ambedkar and still I see no future for these unfortunate people out there. They will be celebrating all Hindu festivals , visiting all Hindu temples and honouring Indian traditions. To that extent, they are blessed.
The moment the government and polity at large realize that the selective romance with groups like OBC is more detrimental to Harijan upliftment, it is better. It is these two communities that are in conflict zone. Till then the harijans have to show the stick of quitting to Buddhism as a tactic to change majority opinion.
Buddhist or Christist, the status of harijan will not change in India unless societal change in terms of a grass root level look, banning caste based census and poll analysis, and abolishing caste altogether.
But Shiva Shankar's utility is still required. He has to wake up the sleeping Hindu mass into action.
